Castle Park High School Academic League 2008-2009 In Academic League, teams compete to answer toss-up questions first using a jeopardy-style buzzer system. Correct answers on toss-up questions earn the team points and the opportunity to answer bonus questions for additional points. The subjects of the questions cover the range of high school academics. In matches, each team typically has five players whom can be rotated in and out of each match. Matches last about 30 minutes each with the Varsity match immediately following the Junior Varsity match. Matches begin at 3 p.m. and typically end by 4:30. Home matches are held in the CPH library and require players to leave during their 6th period. Because of bussing constraints, we leave during lunch and miss 6th period for away matches and return around 5 p.m.
